We respectfully acknowledge and remember we live on the unceded ancestral homelands of the first peoples of the Americas. Here in the Muhheakantuck (Hudson River) Valley they are the Munsee Lenape, Mohican, and Schaghticoke peoples.
We are guests on these ancestral homelands of theirs. We extend our deepest gratitude for their care and teachings about our Earth Mother.
As we resurrect our own indigenous soul, we also acknowledge the teachings from Plant people, Tree people, Winged ones, Finned ones, four leggeds, many leggeds, and no leggeds.

We honor our teachers who generously share their wisdom, stories, love, and laughter with us. Some we learn from directly, others through their books, interviews, and films. We are grateful for their teachings.
